REMINDER: Rockcastle Regional will be set up at RCHS tomorrow to provide free sports physicals to middle and high school athletes. 🚀
🥪 Summer Feeding 🥪
Rockcastle County Schools' food service department will be offering free meals at the Longest Day of Play event on June 20th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.
All children aged 18 and under are welcome to receive a complimentary meal during this time.
If you were not able to attend the informational meeting at RCMS for the Spring Washington D.C. trip, please email Mrs. McGuire (heather.mcguire2@rockcastle.kyschools.us) as soon as possible for more information.
Over 40 RCMS students are participating in a civics camp called a Congressional Academy this week. They are meeting community members and leaders who serve Rockcastle County. Throughout the week, students will be working on civic action projects in which they take an issue in our county and create a plan to fix it. We are proud of these students who are already leaders themselves! 🚀

There will be an informational meeting about an opportunity to visit Washington D.C. during Spring Break next year on Thursday, May 30 at 6:00 in the library. This is open to all students attending RCMS for the 2024-2025 School Year.

Over the past several weeks, our Food Service Department hosted Sample Days, bringing exotic flavors to our lunch experience. Students and staff had the opportunity to taste delicious dragon fruit and mango! We hope everyone enjoyed this tropical treat! 🥭
Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer Information ⬇️
The following school-aged students (aged 6-17 as of August 1st, 2023) are automatically approved for SEBT benefits and do not need to apply:
- Students that have received SNAP, KTAP, and/or Kinship Care for at least one (1) month since July 1st, 2023.
Students who do not fall into the above category but are within the income eligibility limits can apply for SEBT benefits online.
