Kathy Bobo and Debbie Brown from the Rockcastle Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) stopped by the middle school to recognize and reward a couple of our awesome students. 8th grader Aiden Daugherty was presented with the DAR Youth Leadership Medal and 8th grader Maycee McIntosh was presented with the Excellence in American History Award. They also presented RCMS Librarian Heather McGuire with a gift basket in honor of School Librarians Day, and for Mrs. McGuire's commitment to American History Literacy.
